Your First Visit

We are excited to meet new, prospective patients! The first orthodontic visit will take approximately 30 minutes. If you have insurance, we are happy to check your benefits at this appointment. Your 1st visit will include a review of your medical/dental history, a panoramic x-ray, orthodontic photographs, a comprehensive examination of your teeth and bite, and will be followed by a discussion of potential treatment options. Dr. Williams will then discuss the best course of treatment. We are easily able to share your digital photographs and X-rays with you and other dentists caring for your teeth. Once a plan has been set, we can discuss our flexible 0% interest payment options.

Regular Appointments

The appointment when you get your appliances (braces, expanders, etc.) usually takes two hours. You'll then see us at regular intervals 4 to 8 weeks apart for an adjustment, which typically takes 20 to 40 minutes long. Patients are seen by appointment only. We make every effort to be on time for our patients, and ask that you extend the same courtesy to us. If you cannot keep an appointment, please notify us immediately.

Cost

The cost of treatment depends on the severity of the patient's problem. You will be able to discuss fees and payment options before treatment begins. We have payment plans to suit different budgets, including a no-down-payment option. We work hard to make orthodontics affordable and look forward to creating a payment plan that best suits your needs.

Insurance

If you have insurance, we will help you to determine the coverage you have available. Many insurance companies have a lifetime orthodontic benefit that is separate from general dental insurance. With your permission, we will file insurance claims for orthodontic treatment for any insurance company. If your insurance benefits change during the course of treatment, the financially responsible party is responsible for all charges. We are currently providers for a number of insurance companies, which typically grants you a lower treatment fee.
